JORDAN & BECKY SAUCEDA

CHURCH PLANTERS

sauceda family.jpg
After 10 years of ministry in some great churches in Oklahoma and Texas, Becky and Jordan felt a strong calling on their lives to plant a new church in New York City. They have a 9-year-old daughter named Maria, and a 5-year-old son named Moses. Everlasting Church had its first neighborhood gathering in the Bronx back in March of 2017 and soon had its first worship service in May 2017 inside Full Element Martial Arts on the corner of White Plains Road and Brady Avenue.

The Sauceda family was drawn by God to the Pelham Parkway neighborhood in the Bronx because of its international diversity and culture. Everlasting Church is excited to be reaching the world for Christ through their neighborhood. Currently, Everlasting Church holds 2 Sunday morning worship services in the Brady Court Community Center in the Bronx. Over the last few years Everlasting Church has strived to become a family, forever loving God and people.

If you feel called to join their pursuit of starting a new church in this area then please contact them at EverlastingchurchBX@gmail.com.

EVERLASTING CHURCH'S  CORE BELIEFS:

In summary, we believe:

… the Bible is inspired by God and inerrant in content.

(Psalm 19:7-10, 2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:19-21)

… the one true God exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

(Genesis 1:1-3, John 1:1-3, Acts 16:6-10)

… human beings are created in the image of God to know God.

(Genesis 1:26, psalm 8:3-8, James 3:9)

… human beings are separated from God by sin.

(Genesis 6:5, Romans 3:23, James 2:11)

… Jesus Christ died for sinners and rose from the dead.

(Acts 5:30, Romans 5:8, Galatians 3:13)

… salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

(Acts 4:12, Galatians 2:15-16, Ephesians 2:8-9)

… baptism is the immersion of a believer in water.

(Acts 2:38, Romans 6:1-4, Colossians 2:11-12)

… the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.

(Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 12:29-31, Acts 1:8)

… one day Jesus Christ will return for his church.

(John 14:1-3, 1 Thessalonians 4:12-18, Revelation 21:1-4)
